SmartWool I love SmartWool socks and undershirts! Believe it or not, SmartWool does not itch. I have walked hundreds of miles in my SmartWool MDM Mini crew Runner socks (1.8 ounces). I even wore them for two days in soaking wet shoes without getting any blisters or cold feet. About every hour, I would stop and wring out my socks. I also wear a SmartWool Micro Weight T-shirt (5.5 ounces) on every hike. Another great feature of wool is that it does not smell from body sweat. You can wear a SmartWool t-shirt and socks for a couple of days without washing and no one will notice.
